Michael Andrew Rueff (Andrew) was born in Jackson, Mississippi. His current practice is devoted primarily to civil litigation. Andrew has experience representing individuals in a wide range of civil cases, including automobile/trucking accidents, uninsured motorist claims, residential and commercial premises liability claims, construction defects, wrongful death actions, and bad faith/extra-contractual insurance claim denials. He also has handled a number of work-related injury cases before the Mississippi Workers Compensation Commission.
A graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, Andrew has successfully tried numerous jury and bench trials to verdict, and has handled cases before both state and federal appellate courts. Andrew received his Bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a writing concentration from Millsaps College in 2007. After college, he graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law where he worked in child advocacy for the University’s Civil Legal Clinic, and served as a faculty research assistant in the area of capital punishment policy and litigation. He is currently admitted to practice before all of the state and federal courts of Mississippi, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
